Winter activities
Alpine Skiing
The Serre chevalier ski area contains 74 ski lifts and 250 km well prepared pistes on all levels. The whole ski area is linked with artificial snow which ensures skiing early and late in the season. The highest skiing is at 2830 m down to 1200. The whole ski area is surrounded by larch tree forest which simplifies finding easy access offpiste. We always recommend skiing offpiste with a qualified instructor and we'll be happy to help you get in contact.

If you are a beginner or just want to work on your technique? We have a close corporation with English, Swedish and French speaking instructors.

If you buy you're weekly "Grand Serre Che" skipass from us you get 10% reduction.

Equipment
Do you need to rent equipment. We have two partners, Jean Sport and Lucky Loc that will give you 20% reduction on your equipment hire.
Challenging adventure
If one day you feel like a more challenging adventure; the offpiste paradise La Grave is only half an hour away. We'll be happy to get you in contact with a mountain guide to take you there.
Cross Country skiing
Just down the road from the hotel, starts the 35 kilometre track for cross country skiing 10 km are prepared for the skating technique.
Raquette (snowshoe walking)
Even if you're not a skier you can enjoy the mountain in winter. The best way to get out and around is to put snowshoes on and get out in the white wilderness. You can follow ready made tracks or go out with a guide that takes you away from ski lifts and people.
Ice climbing
Instead of climbing rock you climb an icefall with ice axe and crampons. On the village square they create an artificial icefall but there are plenty real ones around.
Rock climbing
Around Serre Chevalier there are hundreds of bolted climbs, some sunny rocks are accessible already in February. Why not come down and ski&climb in April? Ski in the morning and climb in the afternoon. Best of both worlds!
